NGDATA Receives SOC 2 Type II Attestation for Commitment to Data Protection

Handling data responsibly is key to leveraging it effectively for exceptional customer experiences, a value that sits at the heart of NGDATA.

That’s why we’re proud to have become SOC 2 Type II compliant, an internationally recognized attestation developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) for non-financial service organizations.

To award Type I attestation, SOC 2 auditors conduct a short evaluation of a company’s security practices on a given date. However, to become Type II certified, an organization must demonstrate that it can implement and uphold its security best practices in the long term. This signifies that it has gone beyond designing robust controls and has put the appropriate measures in place to handle customers’ data safely and securely.

Receiving SOC 2 Type II attestation highlights our steadfast commitment to the legally sound handling and processing of personal data. To become certified, our internal data systems and controls were evaluated against five Trust Service Criteria over a six-month period:

  • Confidentiality
  • Privacy
