NGDATA confirms strong position CDP market with RealCDP Certification

GHENT – Feb 17, 2022 – The CDP Institute solidifies NGDATA’s role as trusted vendor in the CDP market with a wide range of capabilities. For the third year in a row, NGDATA has received the RealCDP certification.

In 2020, NGDATA’s Intelligent Engagement Platform was the first CDP vendor in the world to receive the RealCDP recognition. This certification identifies CDPs that meet a five-point checklist of features needed to provide a complete, unified, accessible customer database.

The RealCDP Certification is an initiative from the CDP Institute, an impartial industry body that helps marketers make the best use of their customer data. The need for such a certification originates from the growing popularity of CDPs, as some CDPs on the market fall short of expectations. CDP vendors are granted the certification by means of an objective audit, indicating whether the required criteria are met. And with many vendors on the market, here is a guide on how to gain value from a CDP.

Back in 2020, NGDATA’s Intelligent Engagement Platform (IEP) already scored highly in the audit, but there was still some room for improvement. This being one of the main motivational drivers, the CDP Institute now certified NGDATA for all the features, thanks to NGDATA’s strong analytical capabilities:

17 CDP-related capabilities are grouped into three main categories: Core CDP, CDP Enhancement, and CDP Stack. NGDATA meets all requirements with “a rich set of out-of-the-box dashboards and static reports” as an extra validation of its strong analytical skills. The CDP Institute categorizes NGDATA as ‘Campaign CDP’, as they combine powerful analytical capabilities with decision-making and journey orchestration.
